Objectivity

Objectivity is the quality of being based on facts and not influenced by personal feelings or biases.

On the path of knowledge, objectivity is:
  • A useful ideal for practical purposes
  • Never fully achievable, as all experience is subjective
  • Distinguished from subjectivity
The path recognizes that all knowledge ultimately arises in subjective experience, but objective agreement can be reached through shared direct experience and logic.
