Logical Fallacies


Logical Fallacies are errors in reasoning that render an argument invalid.

On the path of knowledge, recognizing logical fallacies is important for:
  • Evaluating arguments critically
  • Avoiding errors in one's own thinking
Common fallacies include ad hominem, straw man, false dichotomy, circular reasoning, and appeal to authority.
