Satisfaction (Skt. संतोष, Santosha) is the state of being content or fulfilled.

On the path of knowledge, true satisfaction is:

• Not dependent on desire fulfilment

• The natural state of the self

• Recognizing one's completeness as existence

• Beyond pleasure and pain

The seeker discovers that satisfaction is not found in obtaining things but in knowing what one already is.
