Experiencing

Experiencing (Skt. अनुभवक्रिया, Anubhavkriya) is the nondual state of the Existence.

Experiencing is the merging of the Experiencer and the Experience.

Experiencing is the Now or the present moment, as it is, seen without being divided.

Experiencing is the state where the activity of the memory has been minimised or controlled.

It is seeing without any conditioning. Also known as being established as a pure mind. It is the Sahaja Samadhi.

It is a state of Oneness, or nonduality.

Establishing the Experiencing

Since the Experiencer and the Experience are one, or are two aspects of one Existence, this division is artificial or false, and in the absence of this division we are left with oneness, this is seen as a pure state of Experiencing.

When the mental activity of dividing is included in the Experience, the separation of the Experience and the Experiencer disappears, and all that remains is the Experiencing. It is a direct knowing.

It is a state that is our current state. However in an ignorant person, it is occluded due to conditioning or indoctrination.

When the ignorance is dropped one is established in the state of Experiencing.

When knowledge is dropped one is established in the state of Experiencing.

Unbroken State of Oneness

On the Path of Knowledge, a seeker familiarises himself with this states and continues in his normal everyday state, fully knowing that the current state is actually of Experiencing or Oneness, and any act of changing it is inconsequential, it is going to remain oneness, with action, without action.

Although it is possible to remain established in this state, more or less, via practice, it is seen as unnecessary.

Experiencing is the only state that is possible, all other states are impossible, they only appear to be, they are not really there. Experiencing is the background of all such false states.

Any attempt to remain steady in this state is therefore fruitless. All one needs is an awareness of one's true nature, and one is reminded of the Experiencing as and when required.

This becomes not our second nature, but our true nature.

One can continue living as a human being, while remaining free from all ignorance. This state is the state of being liberated while living a human life, aka Jeevan Mukti.

Yoga

Yoga (Skt. योग, Yog) is synonymous to Experiencing. This term is used in other paths, especially the Astang Yoga. It simply means the union or merging. Merging of the seer and the seen. Obviously, there are other paths to realise this.

The same state can be called Samadhi or dissolution. There can be various flavours of Samadhi. On the path of knowledge, we are not very concerned with them.
