On the path of knowledge, religion is:

• Based on faith and belief, not direct experience

• A form of indoctrination and social conditioning

• Distinguished from spirituality

• Often an obstacle to self realisation

The path of knowledge does not require religion. It is based on direct inquiry, not faith.
