A disease is a condition that impairs normal functioning of the body or mind.

On the path of knowledge, disease is:

• A pattern of vibrations in the body-mind

• An object of experience

• Not the experiencer

• Subject to change like all phenomena

A disease does not affect the true self. The experiencer is always whole regardless of bodily conditions.
