An object (Skt. वस्तु, Vastu) is a thing that can be perceived or conceived.

On the path of knowledge, objects are:

• Appearances in experience

• Patterns of vibrations in memory

• Not independent of the experiencer

• Name and form superimposed on existence

• Constantly changing and therefore false

There are no objects in existence - only experiences that appear as objects due to the structuring of memory.
