Service (Skt. सेवा, Seva) is voluntary work done for the benefit of others.

On the path of knowledge, service is:

• A natural expression of compassion and oneness

• Not a duty or obligation

• The recognition that serving others is serving oneself

• Not required but spontaneous in the realized one

When one understands that the same experiencer appears in all beings, service becomes natural.
