Vedanta


Vedanta (Skt. वेदान्त) means "the end of the Vedas" and refers to the philosophical systems based on the upanishads.

Major schools of Vedanta include:
  • Vishishtadvaita (qualified nondualism) - taught by Ramanuja
  • Dvaita (dualism) - taught by Madhva
The path of knowledge aligns most closely with Advaita Vedanta.
