The Seer (Skt. द्रष्टा, Drashta) is that which perceives or witnesses experience.

On the path of knowledge, the seer is:

• The experiencer - that which is aware

• Not an object of experience

• The constant presence behind all perceiving

• Identical with existence itself

The seer and the seen are one - this is the essential nondual understanding.
