Relations are connections or associations between objects, events, or concepts.

Also called dependencies.

On the path of knowledge, relations are:

• Patterns in memory that connect experiences

• The basis of knowledge (knowledge = inter-relations among experiences)

• Logical relations when they follow logic

• Arbitrary connections when they do not

The quality and validity of relations determine whether what is formed is knowledge or ignorance.
