To transcend is to go beyond the limits of something.

On the path of knowledge, the seeker transcends:

• Ignorance - through knowledge

• The ego - through self realisation

• Duality - through nondual understanding

• The intellect - through direct knowledge

• Suffering - through liberation

Transcendence on the path is not about escaping but about seeing through the illusion.
