Insight is the capacity to gain an accurate and deep understanding of something.

On the path of knowledge, insight is:

• A moment of direct understanding

• Beyond conceptual knowledge

• The fruit of contemplation

• The means to self realisation

Insight cannot be forced but arises naturally when the mind is prepared.
