Atmabodha Verse 25

हिंदी सारांश अर्चना द्वारा श्लोक 25(भाव): आत्मा प्रांजल और व्यापक है । आत्मा का काम कार्य करना नहीं है। केवल सचेत रहना है। सोचने और करने का काम बुद्धि करती है। (i know ) मैं जानता हूं ( i m ) मैं हूं =(बुद्धि +आत्मा )/यह आत्मा और बुद्धि का जोड़ का फल है। क्योंकि आत्मा ना सोचती है ना कुछ करती है। परंतु जब बुद्धि के साथ एकसार हो जाती है तभी *मैं हूं और *जानता हूं ....का भाव उत्पन्न हो जाता है। #हम हैं इसलिए हम सोच पाते हैं। #हमारे होने के कारण ही बुद्धि और अहम् जैसे भाव जागृत होते हैं। परंतु यह सब भाव आत्मा की शक्ति के कारण ही जागृत होते हैं। बुद्धि तर्क करने की क्षमता रखती है। आत्मा चेतन है और बुद्धि जड़ है। उदाहरण के लिए अगर लोहे की गेंद को जो काले रंग की है आग में डाल दिया जाए तो गेंद लाल रंग की दिखने लगेगी और उसको अगर पकड़ लिया जाए तो जला भी सकती है । ठीक इसी तरह आत्मन रूपी आग में बुद्धि रूपी गेंद जागृत होती है। आत्मा से बुद्धि जागृत होती है इसका सीधा-सीधा उदाहरण इस सच्चाई में दिखता है ... अहम्/ego कभी भी यह नहीं सोच पाता कि वह मरने वाला है। इसलिए अज्ञानी कभी भी अपनी मृत्यु के बारे में नहीं सोच पाता क्योंकि उसको आत्मन यह सोचने ही नहीं देता। क्योंकि आत्मा तो अमर है। जैसे शादी के बाद लड़की का surname/उपनाम बदल जाता है परंतु वह ससुराल में अपनी धाक जमा ही लेती है। इसी तरह आत्मा और बुद्धि भी की भी शादी हो गई समझ लो बुद्धि जागृत हो गई(जागृत होने के लिए शक्ति आत्मा से ली)। फिर बुद्धि और अहंकार आत्मन पर ही हावी हो जाते हैं। English Summary by Bindu Verse 25 I THINK THEREFORE I AM: The Ego Delusion The analysis of the ego:- The real Self / Atman is the non-doer, non-thinker ever conscious pure existence. Thinking belongs to the faculty of intellect. The union of Self and Intellect leads to a birth of ego - 'I am' Applying metaphorically, the moon's reflection in the water- The pure Self is the moon; Intellect is the water and the reflection of the Self in the intellect is the 'ego'. The feeling of 'I am' is the result of indiscriminate linking of the Self with the intellect . Intellect and the 'I-ness' in the intellect is distinct from the real Self. The intellect is the faculty that reasons, analyses, concludes and decides. There are no thoughts in the Self, thoughts are confined to the intellect. By uniting with the ever-conscious Self, the inert intellect also becomes sentient and starts regarding itself to be eternal as the Self. Intellect is inert, prone to delusions and misconceptions. Self is sentient, absolute truth, eternal existence. The intellect has the sense of 'I am' because of its union with pure Self. And this sense of 'I am' is known as the 'ego'.
