Verse 44 The Self is already attained. It has always been existent. The real ‘I’ seem to be unattained due to ignorance, it is all a matter of belief or trust. One may have doubt about God’s existence but, doesn’t doubt his/her own existence. Nihilists believe, there is no such thing as God and there is no purpose to life. They believe in nothing. But non-believing is also a belief. Guru dispels, the ignorance by uniting one with oneself. The Master does not make one, the Atman; but reveals the nature of one’s true identity to oneself. The one who is born and dies is the Jiva. It is the Jiva that leaves the body at the time of death. Having been tied down by its own desires, jiva keeps wandering from one birth to another. It is the nature of the body to decay and die; even an enlightened beings body, perishes.The Atman is eternal, never born. By Bindu श्लोक 44: आत्मा पहले से ही सिद्ध और अस्तित्वात्मक है। तत्व तो हमेशा से ही है । " मैं हूं" .... मेरा होना ही इस बात का प्रमाण है। हम भगवान के होने या ना होने पर सन्देह तो कर सकते हैं। पर अपने होने पर नहीं। नास्तिकवाद ... भगवान के होने पर विश्वास नहीं करते। वह शून्यता पर विश्वास करते हैं। पर विश्वास ना करना भी तो एक तरह का विश्वास ही हुआ ना। गुरु ज्ञान प्रदान करके अज्ञान का नाश करता है ।गुरु हमें आत्मा से नहीं मिलता.... बल्कि हमें हमारी असली पहचान से रुबरू करवाता है। गुरु हमें यह एहसास दिलाता है कि तुम ही आत्मा हो। अज्ञानता के कारण... मन बुद्धि हमें आत्मन से परिचित नहीं होने देती। मरने के पश्चात आत्मा शरीर नहीं छोड़ती बल्कि जीवा शरीर छोड़ देती है। क्योंकि जीवा ने ही शरीर को इच्छाओं से बांध रखा है। जिसके कारण वह बार-बार जन्म लेती है। आत्मा शाश्वत है। यह ना ही जन्म लेती है ना ही मरती है। ज्ञानी का शरीर भी नश्वर है। केवल आत्मा ही शाश्वत है। आत्मा इतनी सूक्ष्म और सरल है। हमारी बुद्धि इसको समझ ही नहीं पाती .। उसकी सरलता को हम पकड़ ही नहीं पाते। अज्ञानता हमें उस ऊंचाई तक पहुंचने नहीं देती । जिससे हम खुद को ही नहीं समझ पाते। By Archana

Verse 45 The darkness of ignorance, creates an illusion of Jiva in Brahman/Self/Atman. In reality, there is nothing but the real Self. Ignorance makes one assume that he/she is a Jiva. One is a Jiva, only until he/she doesn’t realise the Self. With the destruction of false identity with jiva, all the sufferings, sorrow, attachment/aversion, get destroyed. There is no tangible entity called jiva, it is an illusion. Therefore all the relations are of jiva(parents, siblings,partners and offspring) are also illusion. As long as one lives in the identity of being a body-mind-intellect, that individual is bound with ropes of Karma. The Self is boundless, jiva is limited. With the destruction of ignorance, one realises that loving friend is also ‘I’ and the venomous foe is also ‘I’. Having removed all the shackles of limiting identity, an enlightened being sees his own veritable Self everywhere. By Bindu श्लोक 45: जैसे अंधेरी रात में दूर से एक परछाई हमें चोर का आभास दिलाती है और हम डर जाते हैं ।पर हिम्मत करके अगर आगे बढ़ जाए ...तो पता चलता है कि वह पेड़ का तना है।तब डर भाग जाता है शंकराचार्य जी कहते हैं ...जैसे अंधकार भ्रम पैदा करता है। वैसे ही अज्ञानता भी ब्रह्म में जीव का भ्रम पैदा कर देती है। वास्तव में जीव तो है ही नहीं। केवल आत्मा ही सत्य है ।परंतु यह सब अज्ञान के कारण है। "मैं " तब तक जीव हूं ...जब तक "मैं" अज्ञान में हूं। ज्ञान होते ही...जब "मैं " जीव हूं ही नहीं .... तो जन्म मृत्यु ,स्वर्ग नरक का प्रश्न ही नहीं उठता। जीव रूपी पहचान के हटते ही सारे कष्ट भी दूर हो जाते हैं। ऐसे भी कह सकते हैं ....अगर अभी भी हम सुख /दुख या नफरत /बंधन में उलझे हुए हैं ...... तब निसंदेह अभी हमें ज्ञान नहीं हुआ है। हम कर्म के बंधन में बंधे हैं ।जैसे ही हमें अपना तत्व समझ आएगा .. सारा कष्ट भी दूर हो जाएगा। जीव जैसा कुछ भी नहीं है ।यह भ्रम है।यह सारे रिश्ते भी इस जीव के ही हैं । इस तरह यह भ्रम के टूटते ही सारे रिश्ते भी टूट जाते हैं । आत्मा का कोई नाम पता , पहचान नहीं है। आत्मा असीम है..…. यह ज्ञान होने पर ही समझ आता है ‌। जब आत्मा से एकाकार होते हैं। By Archana

1. हमें आत्म-साक्षात्कार के लिए जल्दी क्यों करनी चाहिए? 2. हमें सपने क्यों आते हैं ? 3. राजा जनक के स्वप्न की कथा। 4. सपने हर रात बदलते हैं, कोई निरंतरता नहीं है। लेकिन जाग्रत जीवन निरंतर है, तो यह स्वप्न कैसा? शरीर की तुलना सपने से करना बिल्कुल उचित होगा। स्वप्न: - जागने पर सपना झूठ लगता है - जब सपना घटित हो रहा होता है तो बिल्कुल सच लगता है - और गहरी नींद में तो सपने का कोई मतलब ही नहीं है। संसार भी खुली आंख का वह सपना है जो इंसान स्वयं देख रहा है और केवल देखने वाला ही सत्य है बाकी सब मिथ्या है। जिसका अस्तित्व हमेशा रहे वहीं सत्य है । परन्तु हमारी सच्चाई मन, बुद्धि और शरीर पर आ गई है वही सच लगने शुरू हो गए हैं। सच्चाई लगने और होने में बड़ा फर्क है। अज्ञानी अपनी अपनी सीमा में जीते हैं और और ज्ञानी असीम होकर जीता है । सिनेमा / स्वप्न / संसार =असत्य हैं क्योंकि सब प्रतिक्षण बदल रहे हैं। दृष्टि और दृष्टा का भेद को समझना होगा। [शरीर वाले मैं] को त्याग कर [आत्मा वाले मैं] से को जानना होगा। वहीं ब्रह्मज्ञान है। यही एकमात्र रास्ता है मोक्ष को प्राप्त करने का।

Is there any moment when we are not here? This moment is the only reality, the only Truth. Even with our direct experience we can realise that. There is no then and there, only now and here. Let us see how.
