Atmabodha Verse 64

Verse 64 All that is seen, all that is heard in this world - is not different from Brahman. All that is perceived is Brahman. The inert and the illusion can be perceived only because of the light of Brahman. The observed(world) is inert and untrue; the Observer(Brahman) is the sentient, absolute truth. The substratum of the observed(inert and illusory) world is the all-pervasive Brahman. No matter how illusory in the world is, it’s substratum is the Brahman. The observed is Brahman and the Observer is Brahman. On the path of devotion, a devotee sees himself to be separate from God. He regards himself as a feeble jiva and imagines God to be an omnipotent higher entity. Duality is seen in the path of devotion, where there is a devotee and a God. An enlightened being’s vision is cosmic and thus, he sees God in himself and in all others. Gaining the knowledge of reality, the enlightened being sees the world only as Brahman, as the ever- blissful, ever-conscious, eternal, non-dual absolute existence. Vedanta sees everything as one, as non-dual absolute existence. Calling it ‘one’ isn’t accurate as Brahman is non-dual (Advaita - indivisible non-duality) ‘I am and God is, I am and Brahman is’——- is duality ‘THERE IS NO I AND THERE IS NO YOU’ ——— is the philosophy of Advaita. श्लोक 64: इस संसार में जो कुछ दिखाई देता है और जो कुछ सुनाई देता है - वह ब्रह्मन ही है। ब्रह्मन के प्रकाश के कारण ही ...जड़ और माया... का बोध होता है। •जो दिखाई देता है...(संसार) ....वो जड़ और असत्य है। •पर्यवेक्षक(ब्रह्मन).... संवेदनशील, पूर्ण सत्य है। प्रेक्षित (जड़ और मायावी) जगत का आधार भी सर्वव्यापी ब्रह्मन ही है। जब मन भटकना बंद कर देता है (योग और विभिन्न क्रियाओं के अभ्यास द्वारा)और दृढ़ वैराग्य विकसित कर लेता है, तब मन यह समझने में सक्षम हो जाता है कि दुनिया मायावी है और इसके सुख क्षणभंगुर हैं ; और शाश्वत आनंद भीतर से ही आता है। संसार कितना भी मिथ्या क्यों न हो, उसका आधार ब्रह्मन ही है।देखा जाने वाला भी ब्रह्म है और देखने वाला... दोनों ब्रह्मन हैं ।यह भी कहा जा सकता है कि दृश्य और दृष्टा दोनों ब्रह्मन हैं। भक्ति के मार्ग पर.... भक्त स्वयं को भगवान से अलग देखता है। वह स्वयं को एक कमज़ोर जीव मानता है और ईश्वर को एक सर्वशक्तिमान उच्च इकाई के रूप में कल्पना करता है। भक्ति मार्ग में द्वैत दिखाई देता है, जहाँ भक्त और भगवान होते हैं। एक प्रबुद्ध व्यक्ति की दृष्टि लौकिक होती है और इस प्रकार, वह स्वयं में और अन्य सभी में ईश्वर को देखता है। वास्तविकता का ज्ञान प्राप्त होने के पश्चात...प्रबुद्ध व्यक्ति दुनिया को केवल ब्रह्मन के रूप में : •हमेशा आनंददायक, •हमेशा-जागरूक, •शाश्वत, •अद्वैत •पूर्ण अस्तित्व रूप में देखता है। इस प्रकार ,वेदांत में हर चीज़ को: -एक -अद्वैत -पूर्ण अस्तित्व के रूप में देखते हैं। इसे 'एक' कहना भी सही नहीं है क्योंकि ब्रह्मन अद्वैत है (अद्वैत - अविभाज्य ) 'मैं हूं और ईश्वर है, मैं हूं और ब्रह्म है'——-द्वैत है 'वहां न मैं है और न आप हैं'———अद्वैत का दर्शन है।
