Atmabodha Verse 55

Verse 55 Having known Brahman, the yogi is no longer born again in the labyrinth of this world. Realising the Brahman and abiding in the apraoksha knowing with unwavering conviction - such that even when woken up from sleep and asked, who one is - he/she replies ‘ I am Brahman’; In sleep, in sensory indulgence, in sexual intimacy, or in anger - if one doesn’t forget that one is Brahman, it is the indicator of unswerving conviction in Brahman. Having known this, nothing remains to be known. Enlightenment and sorrow do not co-exist. The indicators of ignorance are - having expectations, seeking support from others, complaining and whining. श्लोक 55: जब योगी को अपने तत्व .... ब्रह्मन ... का ज्ञान हो जाता है ... तब वह इस संसार रूपी भूल भुलैया में फिर जन्म नहीं लेता । ब्रह्मन के बोध के साथ-साथ .... अपरोक्ष ज्ञान में रहते हुए .... दृढ़ता की उस चरम सीमा को छूना है - जहां यदि सोकर उठने पर भी कोई पूछे कि तुम कौन हो- तब भी स्वयं को ब्रह्म ही बताएं। सोते हुए / संवेदी भोग / गुस्से में या वासना लिप्त होने पर भी ... यदि हम अपने ब्रह्मत्व को ना भूलें .... तो यह सिद्ध हो जाता है कि अब हम ब्रह्मत्व में ही बसते हैं। इस सर्वोत्तम ज्ञान होने के पश्चात .... अब और जानने को शेष नहीं रहता। अज्ञानता के कारण हम शरीर, मन, बुद्धि से जुड़े हैं। यही हमारे सारे दुखों का कारण भी है। ज्ञान और दुःख दोनों साथ-साथ नहीं चल सकते। अज्ञानता के कारण हम *इच्छा ग्रस्त, *दूसरों पर आश्रित, *एक आलोचक बन कर रह जाते हैं। पुराने जमाने में गुरु शिष्य का चुनाव बड़े ही कठोर मापदंड के आधार पर करते थे। हमने नश्वर होते हुए... चेहरे पर बहुत से मुखोटे लगाए हुए हैं। हर चेहरे के पीछे हजारों चेहरे छुपे हैं ।कभी कभी तो ऐसा लगता है- मानो मुखौटे के पीछे वाला चेहरा गुस्से से मारने को तैयार खड़ा है। गुस्सा अज्ञानता का प्रतीक है। जबकि ज्ञानी पुरुष गुस्से का प्रयोग बहुत ही चतुराई से करता है। ज्ञानी वह शल्यकार है , जो भलीभांति जानता है गुस्से रूपी छूरी का उपयोग कब और कहां करना है । ज्ञानी हर अवस्था में एक समान रहता है। यदि कोई *निडर *अशोक *अपेक्षा रहित है -तो निसंदेह,वह ज्ञान के सागर में विलीन हो चुका है।
