Knowledge Dissemination Topics
Newcomers in the field of Knowledge Dissemination often face the difficulty about the topics and subjects to speak about and the way to present the Knowledge. This short article will help them and will provide some ideas about what to write or show. All those who are eligible are most welcome to contribute to this list.

General instructions
- Do not start knowledge dissemination or service without permission from your Teacher.
- Know your subject well before you present it.
- Keep your language pure. Do not mix languages.
- There can be occasional Sanskrit or English (in Hindi content) words, when no alternatives are available.
- Do not make your language too difficult to understand.
- Use the terminology and definitions of the path of knowledge (Especially of your Program).
- Define important words and concepts clearly before you use them.
- Avoid too much poetry and mysterious talk.
- Do not use copyrighted music or pictures in your presentation. It can cause a ban on your channel.
- Do not say or show anything offensive.
- Do not insult other paths, gurus, religions or communities. It can cause a ban and can cause riots and legal issues.
- Avoid showing pictures of famous people, gurus or gods and goddesses. Keep it unrelated to any other communities or sects.
- Be modern and contemporary. No need to be dogmatic.
- Depict teachers and seekers in a modern way. No need to picture them as ancient people.
- Avoid depicting people in an attire belonging to a particular sect or religion or community.
- Avoid songs or praise of various deities. Should not look like you are spreading superstition.
- Avoid teaching occult/tantra or shady practices.
- Avoid revealing your personal information. Use a spiritual name if needed.
- Unless you are a pundit, do not comment on scriptures and do not interpret them.
- Talk sweetly and clearly, and remain on the topic.
- Avoid long stories and jokes. But you can make it light and entertaining.
- If you are using your voice, ensure that recordings are free of noise. Use a good microphone. Ensure that the volume is not too low or too loud.
- If you have a YouTube channel, publish only about the path of knowledge. You can open another channel in case you want to publish something else.
- If you create music and songs, keep it on topic and do not make your whole channel about songs only, publish more talks, less songs.
- Do not make unconfirmed claims of any kind.
- Show useful links in video description, such as gyanmarg.guru etc. Ensure that the links are correct, check yourself by clicking them.
- If your voice is not perfect, use AI or text to speech to record audio. Ensure it is natural sounding.
- Avoid videos that are too long.
- Avoid sensational titles or thumbnails. Keep it clean, simple and beautiful.
- Conduct interviews. You can do it online or in person.
- Do not spend too much money on publishing.
- Avoid advertising or selling anything.
- Turn off advertisements in your channel. You will need more than 1000 subscribers and YouTube creator membership to do that.
- If you know more than one language, and want to talk in those, open separate channels for each.
- You should be very patient and consistent as it can take 5 to 10 years before any results are seen. Do not worry about subscribers and views, very few will show interest in your work.
- As far as possible, be original, convey your own knowledge. Wherever needed, you can quote someone else, but do it rarely and make it clear that such and such person said it or it is written somewhere.
- Do not worry if someone else has already published on the same topic. Add your own. More is better.
- Do not worry if there are 1000s of such channels, books or articles. We need more.
- Talk from your own experience.
- Take responsibility for what you say.
- Understand what you say first.
- Do not pretend to be wise. Do not show off. Be gentle and humble.
